Information on what C2U does

Every penny we raise in donations goes back into C2U.

No-one at C2U Gosport CIC recieves payment for the time they give.

Warm Hub

Warm hubs are places that provide a warm and safe space for people who are struggling to heat their homes due to the high cost of energy. These hubs typically offer soup, a roll, and a hot drink to ensure that community members have access to at least one hot meal daily.

Healthy Breakfast

Holiday Breakfast Clubs provide free breakfasts to families in need during the holidays. They offer cereal, toast, fruit, and juice, as well as crafting sessions and character visits to brighten the children's day.

 Wellbeing Support

The organisation offers support five days a week, including access to a well-being counselor and life coach. Their approach is person-centered and tailored to individual needs, aiming to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge to manage their mental health. Additionally, they provide a safe space for the community, ensuring immediate access to support whenever possible.

Paperwork Support

The organisation provides various forms of support, including: - Assistance with completing benefit applications and housing forms. - Help with job applications and CVs. - Sessions to enhance interview skills and stress management. - Support in applying for disabled adaptations in homes, such as handrails, ramps, and wet rooms.

Computer Access for the Community

The office space is bookable for people needing it on an ad-hoc basis. It has two computers with internet access and printing facilities. This enables people without computers or internet to stay connected with family, apply for jobs, and access online medical consultations.

Food Bank

Due to the rising cost of living, food is provided daily to those in the community who are experiencing food poverty. This service is available five days a week and on alternate Saturdays to those in need.

Suggested Donation of a £1.00

Star Royalty UK

Star Royalty UK is a national pageant system, offering a safe environment for contestants to be themselves on the stage. We are supporting C2U Gosport and Abi’s Got Guts, our event profits are split ensuring they can continue their work in the community.

Star Royalty UK 2025 National Finals

Star Royalty UK is hosting their very first national pageant where contestants will be walking the stage with the chance to be walking away with a national title. They will compete in a variety of rounds in jaw-dropping outfits and electrifying energy.

I will use the funds to help pay for expenses such as venue hire, allowing me to offer sponsorship to some contestants that are deserving and may not have the means to partake in the event. I want to create a spectacular event and provide opportunities to the winners through the pageant, including a photoshoot and an amazing prize package. I would like to provide an afternoon tea and drinks throughout the day for all contestants and the pageant team, to ensure that they are all taken care of.

Star Royalty UK are supporting groups in the local area C2U Gosport and Abi’s Got Guts, by fundraising to ensure that they can continue what they do in the community. We will be holding collections to help with C2U Gosport Helping Hands Food Store, using profits to go shopping with our winners to buy required items that will hopefully help the local people in the area. Star Royalty will also be using the event profits to ensure that these two groups can continue what they do in the community.
